Fatih Altay, one of the partners of Elmas & Yeşiloğlu, is highly experienced, assists and represents companies from small and medium-sized enterprises to large-scaled corporations with respect to debt recovery and collection operations. He also has substantial expertise in the rehabilitation of entities encumbered with debt, as well as bankruptcy, concordatum/composition of debts, and enforcement disputes. He provides legal advice to international and local clients on a variety of matters including employment, social security, insurance, bankruptcy, and enforcement law.
In particular, he has extensive experience with distressed investments in bank debt, bankruptcy trade claims, and distressed securities. Fatih regularly represents banks, broker-dealers, hedge funds, investment advisors, and other entities in secondary market transactions related to both Turkey and international assets. He also represents opportunity and investment funds in connection with distressed acquisitions of business and debt.
He also represents clients in tax planning and litigation matters, with expertise in business trial litigation and distressed company and bankruptcy litigation.
